''
Apabila langit terbelah

Surah Al-Insyiqaq:1-6

Luther Vandross

Back when I was a child, before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high and dance with my mother and me and then
Spin me around 'til I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved
If I could get another chance, another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
How I'd love, love, love
To dance with my father again
When I and my mother would disagree
To get my way, I would run from her to him
He'd make me laugh just to comfort me
Then finally make me do just what my mama said
Later that night when I was asleep
He left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me
If I could steal one final glance, one final step, one final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
'Cause I'd love, love, love
To dance with my father again
Sometimes I'd listen outside her door
And I'd hear how my mother cried for him
I pray for her even more than me
I pray for her even more than me
I know I'm praying for much too much
But could you send back the only man she loved
I know you don't do it usually
But dear Lord she's dying
To dance with my father again
Every night I fall asleep and this is all I ever dream

''He was a legend just like ayah''

Yes,its DST-seronok bila bangun and jam dilewatkan sejam.

European Union
The EU begins Summer Time at 1:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time on the last Sunday in March and reverts to Standard Time at 1:00 a.m. GMT on the last Sunday in October. All time zones change at the same moment. While European nations took advantage of a seasonal time change for decades, in 1996 the EU standardized the "summertime period. In 2009, DST starts on March 29 and ends on October 25. In 2010, DST starts on March 28 and ends on October 31.

United States
The U.S. begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. local time on the second Sunday in March and reverts to Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. local time on the first Sunday in November. DST is not observed in Hawaii or Arizona, with the exception of the Navajo Nation, which does observe DST, even in Arizona. In 2009, DST starts on March 8 and ends on November 1. In 2010, DST starts on March 14 and ends on November 7.

Kat Argos ade ker?? Quality Save? Maidin?? Why?? Why??

1-People like it
A poll conducted by the U.S. Department of Transportation indicated that Americans like Daylight Saving Time because "there is more light in the evenings/can do more in the evenings." A 1976 survey of 2.7 million citizens in New South Wales, Australia, found that 68% liked Summer Time. Indeed, some say that the primary reason that Summer Time is a part of many societies is simply because people like to enjoy long summer evenings.

2-Increased voter turnout
Through 2006, the Daylight Saving Time period closed on the last Sunday in October, about a week before Election Day, which is held the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. -- The extension of DST into November was proposed as a way to encourage greater voter participation, the theory being that more people would go to the polls if it was still light when they returned home from work. The U.S. law that took effect in 2007 pushed the end of DST to the first Sunday in November. In some years 2010, 2021, 2027, and 2032, this will fall after Election Day, giving researchers the opportunity to gauge its effect on voter turnout.

3-Fewer violent crimes
A study by the U.S. Law Enforcement Assistance Administration found that crime was consistently less during periods of Daylight Saving Time than during comparable standard time periods. Data showed violent crime down 10% to 13%. It is clear that, for most crimes where darkness is a factor such as muggings, there are many more incidents after dusk than before dawn, so light in the evening is most welcome.

4-Oil conservation
Following the 1973 oil embargo, the U.S. Congress extended Daylight Saving Time to 8 months, rather than the normal six months. During that time, the U.S. Department of Transportation found that observing Daylight Saving Time in March and April saved the equivalent in energy of 10,000 barrels of oil each day -- a total of 600,000 barrels in each of those two years. Likewise, in 1986, Daylight Saving Time moved from the last Sunday in April to the first Sunday in April. No change was made to the ending date of the last Sunday in October. Adding the entire month of April to Daylight Saving Time is estimated to save the U.S. about 300,000 barrels of oil each year. Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time commenced on the second Sunday in March and ended on the first Sunday in November, thereby saving even more oil.

5-Fewer traffic accidents?
Several studies in the United States and Great Britain have found that the daylight shift that comes with Daylight Saving Time and Summer Time reduces net traffic accidents and fatalities by close to one percent. An increase in accidents during the darker mornings of fall is more than offset by the evening decrease in accidents. However, recent research indicates that pedestrian fatalities from cars soar at 6:00 p.m. during the weeks after clocks are set back in the fall. Walkers are three times as likely to be hit and killed by cars right after the switch than in the month before DST ends. Researchers from Carnegie Mellon University, who found a 186 percent jump in the risk of being killed by a car for every mile walked, speculate that drivers go through an adjustment period when dusk arrives earlier. Although the risk drops in the morning, because there are fewer pedestrians at 6:00 a.m., the lives saved in the morning don't offset those lost in the evening. This research corroborates a 2001 study by researchers at the University of Michigan, which found that 65 pedestrians were killed by car crashes in the week before DST ended, and 227 pedestrians were killed in the week following the end of DST.

Aku ni selalu timbul idea macam mana nak tambah masa hantar lab lambat je.Who??

Benjamin Franklin
The idea of daylight saving was first conceived by Benjamin Franklin during his sojourn as an American delegate in Paris in 1784, in an essay, "An Economical Project." Some of Franklin's friends, inventors of a new kind of oil lamp, were so taken by the scheme that they continued corresponding with Franklin even after he returned to America.

William Willett
The idea of shifting daylight was first advocated seriously by London builder William Willett -- 1857-1915 -- in the pamphlet, "Waste of Daylight" 1907, that proposed advancing clocks 20 minutes on each of four Sundays in April, and retarding them by the same amount on four Sundays in September. As he was taking an early morning a ride through Petts Wood, near Croydon, Willett was struck by the fact that the blinds of nearby houses were closed, even though the sun was fully risen. When questioned as to why he didn't simply get up an hour earlier, Willett replied with typical British humor, "What?" In his pamphlet "The Waste of Daylight" he wrote "Everyone appreciates the long, light evenings. Everyone laments their shortage as Autumn approaches; and everyone has given utterance to regret that the clear, bright light of an early morning during Spring and Summer months is so seldom seen or used."

Di UK sejarahnya begini:

Bill introduced into Parliament
About one year after William Willett began to advocate daylight saving -- he spent a fortune lobbying -- he attracted the attention of the authorities. Robert Pearce -- later Sir Robert Pearce -- introduced a bill in the House of Commons to make it compulsory to adjust the clocks. The bill was drafted in 1909 and introduced in Parliament several times, but it met with ridicule and opposition, especially from farming interests. Generally lampooned at the time, Willett died on March 4, 1915.

DST ini juga menimbulkan kontroversi. Ape ingat Fasha Sandha saja boleh dilanda kontroversi!!

Disrupted mornings
People who wake at dawn, or whose schedules are otherwise tied to sunrise, complain about the adjustment. Canadian poultry producer Marty Notenbomer notes, "The chickens do not adapt to the changed clock until several weeks have gone by, so the first week of April and the last week of October are very frustrating for us.Setuju!!

Religious practices
In Israel, ultra-Orthodox Sephardic Jews have campaigned against Summer Time because they recite Slikhot penitential prayers in the early morning hours during the Jewish month of Elul. Kitaorang pon ada Subuh tau!!

Sleep disturbances
Many people complain about the inconvenience of adjusting to a new sleep schedule when the time changes. While this is a nuisance to most, for those with sleep disorders, the transition can be very difficult.

Lost productivity
There is evidence that work productivity decreases as people adjust to the time change.''Sambil menunding jari kepda diri sendiri.

Inconvenience
People often complain about the inconvenience of changing their clocks twice a year. Tambah-tambah jam dekat *&*^(*&%**%/. As mentioned above.

Severity of auto accidents
There is evidence that the severity of auto accidents increases as people adjust to the time change.
